Sun prints, cyanotype, c-prints, tape, text. 2015
A series of cyanotypes form a calendar of a week of daily tarot readings. The cards were shuffled, cut and drawn directly onto sheets of photosensitive paper and exposed to sunlight. Traces from each reading were recorded, with exposure times ranging from several minutes to many hours based on changes in the weather each day. Using notes and photographs as source material, a flip side was developed for each print. The fragments and symbols that circulate in this work form reflections on love, loss and solitude.
