Rachael Woodson is an artist and curator whose practice explores the relationship between photography and language. She spends her time between Paris and New York, combining research, artistic creation, and teaching, and collaborating with cultural and academic institutions in France and the United States. She has notably worked with the Palais de Tokyo and the Jeu de Paume, and has taught at Université Paris 8, the École nationale supérieure d’arts de Paris-Cergy, Parsons Paris and Paris College of Art. Her current research considers photographic objects as relational and narrational sites at a time when the medium’s epistemological foundations are in flux.
